Abraham Diaz Jr.
LCSW, MSW, Therapist / Veteran

After receiving my Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree, I went on to become an officer in the Air Force as a military social worker for 9 years. During that time I completed my clinical license.  As a social worker on active duty, I was responsible for overseeing substance abuse treatment and and treatment of families affected by domestic abuse, and provided vital mental health treatment to all branches of service, ensuring our warfighters were at their best. My most satisfying moment was when I led a Combat Stress team in Afghanistan, coordinating and providing mental health treatment to our soldiers on the frontlines.

I find that having a strong mind is equally as important as taking care of yourself physically. Some people face much different challenges from others that unknowingly causes them significant deficits. My ultimate goal with the people I work with is give them the support needed and the extra push to overcome obstacles that prevent them from moving forward.
